Going after the wrong witch

Yesterday on the Sunday talk shows, Senator Dick Durbin said he wanted Congress to open an investigation into the News Corp hacking scandal going on in Great Britain. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out Durbin’s motive: If they can just get rid of Fox News the entire country will fall in line with the liberal agenda. Without Fox, reporting of any news not favorable to the president will cease to exist on TV. How sweet that would be for the progressive movement currently destroying our country.
We can expect the liberal media to be all News Corp all the time, until that witch is destroyed.
Meanwhile concentration on News Corp and Rupert Murdoch serves a much bigger purpose. It allows the media to continue to ignore Operation Fast and Furious, a real scandal growing by the day. This is particularly important as links to the White house and president are emerging. Operation Fast and Furious sent 2,500 guns illegally into Mexico under the ATF program. This act, apparently dictated by President Obama and AG Holder fueled the drug violence ravaging Mexico and led to the shooting death of a U.S. border agent. And now we learn that a similar program may have taken place in Honduras under the name “Operation Castaway“.
Watch and see how much press the liberal media gives this scandal. Operation Fast and Furious is the witch that must stay hidden.

I have been enjoying myself immensely at the Yarmouth, Maine clam festival except for all the people trying to get me to sign a petition for same day voter registration.
Much like Casinos, gay marriage – if that even exists, and same day voter registration, in Maine it has all been kicked to the curb.
The signature gathering effort I’ve witnessed here to restore same day voter registration is unbelievable!
I’ve congratulated over a dozen petition people for supporting voter fraud and have been elbowed and been given that spousal look not to say anything an equal amount of times.
What have I taken away from all this?
I’m always impressed when the absolute truth shows up in the shortest form: So here it is a very deep thought..
The economic problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

The Debt ceiling argument goes on and both sides are deeply divided. Today at 11 am Obama has called a press conference. No doubt he will be blaming the Republicans for this fierce debate and chastising them for digging in their heels on this issue.
The hypocrisy of the left on this issue can be best illustrating by one Hillary Clinton when George W Bush was in office.
What Obama and the left need to be reminded of:

I think the Government is fat and I want to send it to foster care.
Does that sound extreme?
No more extreme then the government taking obese children away from their parents and sending them into foster care. Dr Ludwig of Children’s Hospital is proposing just that in the Journal of the American Medical Association. In SC a woman’s 14 year old son weighed 400 lbs and was by court order indeed put into foster care. Over a two year period he managed to lose 200 lbs.
So I asked what made him lose the weight. Was it the foster care or was it the anxiety of missing his family and being depressed that made him stop eating? Ultimately for readers it will be hard to actually tell. However, I’m sure a costly government study will be next to answer that very question.
Government will use this case to say it was correct. I use this case to say how bloated government is. It is providing DSS with new customers to document its need for existence. Medicaid is automatically generated for those children entering foster care so another agency is utilized and supports big government entitlement programs, and on and on. Programs all paid for by your tax dollars.
Who exactly gets to determine who and what is morbidly obese? In the example given it was 400lbs but let’s be real here. Hopefully there aren’t that many extreme cases so the 350 to 300 lbs kids could be next. High School Football players in the 250 range could soon be on the horizon. Once a government agency is fed it, itself, gets hungry and always wants to do more. I.e. think smoking and now the new attack on cigar bars.
No one wants to see a 400 lb child and all the known health issues that go along with that. Drs should do more to encourage the family in parenting, shopping skills, and exercise before ordering children to Government run fat farms in foster care. Americans seem to be getting bigger as a whole so a diet plan may be right for individuals in the future. But shouldn’t you get to decide what’s right for you? However, the first and best diet plan we need is for our own government. Further, any official grossly over their recommended BMI would be such a hypocrite to sign this into law. “MOORE”- over, the good news is that you get to decide if they are a hypocrite or not.
