Dick is on and on about everything is scripted at these conventions, it’s all the same stuff blah blah blah, he’s seen more Conventions than you (even tho he didn’t watch any of these last ones etc).
If what Dick says is true, and all this political chatter between everyone everywhere is always disingenuous and biased and scripted and rah rah, then my question for Dick would be “Why listen to Dick on Fun With Dick & Jane?” Everything he dismissively paints with a broad brush on everyone else as dishonest motive should equally apply to himself, so why the heck should anyone even listen to Dick when he can’t even be bothered to watch the Conventions.
